Our Objective.
The Tweneboah Institute is an emerging theological institution of the Elizabeth Tweneboah Foundation, Inc., devoted to the scholarly study of marriage. Through theological education and public scholarship, it examines what Scripture and the Christian tradition teach about marriage and brings that learning into conversation with the church and the wider public. The Institute seeks to become a recognized center where scholars and students examine marriage with the seriousness long given to the other great questions of the faith.
Our Pedagogical Conviction.
Instruction at the Institute is grounded in Scripture and carried out with scholarly care. Each course asks students to engage the sources closely and to reason carefully about marriage and human relationships.
